The new OS X Yosemite will be the next version of the Mac OS which sees the revamped look and the addition of new features, according to reports.
As indicated in the blog site, the upcoming operating system from the Cupertino-based tech giant was first introduced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote last June 2.

Among the many features shown is the completely redesigned 'flatter look,' Expanded Notification Center with widgets, iCloud Drive file storage system, a more streamlined design of the Safari, as well as Email and Messaging enhancements, Mac Rumors reported.

The Mail Drop feature is also a highlight in the update. It allows users to easily send and receive attachments up to 5GB in size via iCloud. The Markup feature is also worth noting as it enables users to make Skitch-style annotations to images and other documents right from within the mail.
The Safari in the latest Yosemite is also said to have an improved Nitro JavaScript engine that makes it even faster but more energy-efficient than ever.
